At first I had planned not to install a dvd-drive inside the case but to make an external drive. I changed my mind and started planning a slot for a slim-dvd-drive. The biggest problem was to fit the drive inside the case so that it would fit the small holes in the front panel. After measuring and fitting for a while a suitable place was found. There was a lot of scratches and holes in the front panel so it had to be grinded. Fortunately the panel was aluminium, not plastic. At the same time I decided to polish the whole front panel. There was a lot of work because the surface was brushed. Because I had no proper tools I had to do it by hands. After a couple days of grinding it started to look better. ![]() More shine to surface with Autosol's polisher. ![]() I also painted case with silver. ![]() ![]() |
