A new ghettoblaster that will hopefully be more successful than the last one..
Omg.... 12h left... No handle, actually haven't even got an idea how to attach it, no feet, no hatch/door for the battery.... Have to continue/redo this after Provinssirock... :D
Omg.... 12h left... ...
Some 3 days left, and so much yet to do.
And fyi, it's been like this for weeks. I broke my finger, and it's kind of hard to do anything.
Luckily I'm Superman and disobeyed the doctors instructions of keeping my fingers attached to a splint for 5 weeks. Building is far more important right now!
Some 3 days left, an...
Note-to-Self:

Never design an enclosure so, that the side panels attach in "between" the front and the back panels, not "on" them. What a pain in the ass.

Weighs next to nothing.
Note-to-Self:...
230*570
And yes it's upside down....
As are the amp and the battery.
230*570
I still suck at modeling, but at least it looks a little like I thought it should
I still suck at mode...
So this is the model... Don't know how to use the software properly...
I'm going to purchase some plywood and other little thingies, such as Ferrari red tights soon.
So this is the model...
I've been trying to re-invent the wheel.
Not that successfully so far.

4mm plywood except for the front

...The noob edition
Yes, the handle totally failed
Yes, I did cut the pleather of the front panel from the wrong place
Yes, the aluminium isn't straight.
I will cut away the handle, and re-coat the blaster if those things start to irritate me, but at the moment I am about to blow...
I had to make this in real hurry, since it was my last possible day to build this. I am really hating my self for that cut and the "fat" and "soft" look of the handle :lllll
Yes, the handle tota...
İEcoWet 240
I guess I won't polish it further, I actually like this look alot. After sanding I covered this with something called Universal Stone. It left a clean look, and it absorbs water. How handy is that? If the aluminium starts to "rust", I'll just sand it again.

9,5mm and 12mm......
Okay, here's the final plan. It is really unfairly "copied" from Drakmins one, except from the fact that his is cool and mine is... fool? "Haha". I have everything cut, but I don't have a router, which makes it a bit comlicated. I decided to wait until someone can borrow me one.
Okay, here's the fin...
So, I did one more model. I think this would be about it. It starts to be a bit small, about 19 liters. I don't know if it has a huge effect on sound? Should I just make it 20, or is it reasonable to keep it that way, since I have everything count? (And by the way, I made the battery/amp section a bit large, would it be better to minimize even that chamber? The amps info says, that it shouldn't be installed anywhere too narrow...)
So, I did one more m...
Here's everything the courier brought me. Some wire (too thick for the 3,5mm connector to fit inside), couple of connectors, and the B 200 itself.
Here's everything th...
So here it is, the 8" Visaton B200 fullrange speaker! The first component of my ghettoblaster-project, inspired by the user drakmin.

I carved a little space, and then melted some metal (don't actually know which one) into it so that it would be a little more stable..
