Title: Test bench
Created: 03.08.2010 12:44
I needed a compact test bench, so I built one.
Updated the test bench, it now has some weather striping to keep the PSU and optical drive/HDD in place as well as mounting holes for the PSU. The fan is currently held in place with some zip ties, I still need to figure a good way to mount it.

I need to move this thing around a lot to keep it safe from my cat, and having the parts mounted in makes moving it around a LOT easier.

Built a test bench. Took a couple of hours and cost maybe 5 . Used to have the parts lying on the table, but this makes moving the rig so much easier...

Note the upside down standoffs. I figured this would make for the easiest installation. Just slap the motherboard on and it is not going to move anywhere. I also have thumb grommets for more secure mounting when necessary.

Keep it simple ;)
